Since its establishment in 1976, our company, Micron Corporation has been providing high-quality and creative products to the dentistry field.
Our original technologies are utilized in all of our products - three-way syringes, air scalers (air-driven tartar removers), root canal treatment systems, as well as jet air polishers.
We successfully developed world-first air scaler with light and high-vibration air scaler driven by compressed air which reached inaudible frequency range first time in the world.
However, we are never content with these success.
Improvement of medical services is a fundamental subject for the future human society, so we will keep going forward to contribute 1to the world through our dental instruments.

	In the 1980s, we developed our core technology - vibration technology by compressed air. It is an original technology to rotate and vibrate a disk using compressed air, poroduces micro and soft vibration. This vibrator was fitted into the first domestic tartar remover (air scaler) used for a fundamental preventive treatment, and put into the site of dental care. The air scaler received a high evaluation not only within the country but in overseas countries, and got large share around the world. Even now many dental professionals use this scaler. Still we had been continuously pursuing higher-performance vibration technologies to develop next-generation vibration source. The capacity of the traditional vibrators driven by compressed air is to produce vibration of 3000 to 6000 Hz or so. We however succeeded in invention and productization of world's first air-driven vibrator generates frequency of around 17000 Hz. The high vibration of nearly inaudible range substantially lessens the running noise, enables to improve treatment effectiveness and reduce patient pain. It has achieved a good balance between "effective treatment" and "gentle treatment" to reduce burden of both patients and dental staff. Without being content with the present technologies, we'll keep on developing creative technologies and offering best-quality products for progress of dentistry.



	Dental care requires advanced therapeutic techniques, thus treatment instruments must be highly safe and reliable. In order to meet the quality standard required by the site of dental care, we have been developing and improving our internal quality systems. We successfully received the international standard for quality assurance ISO 9001 from the notified body TUV Rheinland Japan in 1999. We produce products meeting expectation of the treatment sited under strict quality management systems.
